Colourful gardens and the Turkish lifestyle

South of Turkey's Antalya province, backing onto the Taurus mountains, this Club Med Resort nestles on a long pearl-grey beach which is just perfect for everyone. Alternate between the hotel’s calm, intimate atmosphere and the numerous activities offered for families and for the more athletic. Stroll between the carefully preserved fruit trees and exotic-scented flowers. Be charmed by the Turkish staff’s hospitality. The mountain reflects in the Zen pool dark stone. Go back in time and explore the lost city of Myra and the Byzantine ruins of Phaselis.

We had so much fun and the club med is really good. The club med have so much activities for everyone for all years. Noelie and Reda were the best G.O teen. We enjoyed the week and he hope to come back.

We had a wonderful holiday to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with our extended family. The resort is stunning and the food, service and ambiance oustanding. I can highly recommend this resort and we will return.

Good food and lots of activities, but not very zen

We've been lucky enough to visit quite a few Club Meds so of course we tend to compare. I must say that this one has pros and cons. Let's start with the pros: very nice rooms and rather large in the Villagio (though not made for tall people, my husband is 6'4 and had to be careful with the doors height), good bedding and AC, nice terrasse viewing the gardens and the mountains. The food was excellent and varied, and there were loads of activities of all sorts (tennis, paddle, yoga, waterski, coffee games etc). The cons now: reception organisation, help. We arrived on our own from Istanbul and it was raining cats and dogs (quite rare there), but that doesn't justify the fact that the staff at the reception was in total disarray, nobody welcomed us, we had to literally grab someone after 15 min to be taken care of. When checkin was done, we walked to our rooms, quite distant from the hotel, and there were no umbrellas left and when we finally reached the rooms, the bracelets only allowed us to have access to one room instead of 2. We had to go back again. Every time we had to go to reception during the week, it wasn't simple. Few people and more often than not, they needed to check simple information with their supervisor. We talked with other GM, and everybody agreed on the fact that there was a margin for improvement there. The Zen pools areas should be improved. We compared them to those in Bali and Marrakech which are really zen and cosy, and this is not the case here. Except for the fact that the areas are forbidden to children, there is nothing zen or cosy about it. There is music - loud sometimes - loads of people, no non smoking area, not pleasant at all. Finally, being Gold members, we should have a direct access to an assistant via Whatsapp, but it was never proposed to us.
So all in all, if you don't mind a big club, don't need quiet and zen, don't need a white sandy beach but need lots of activities and good food, this Club is for you!

Another great stay at Club Med!

4/54/5 • 2025-06-21

We had a lovely stay for ~10 days at Club Med Palmiye with our just under 2 year old son. As usual at club med, we had a wonderful time!
A few highlights:

  • the baby club was great and set in a lovely shaded part of the resort. The staff were wonderfully caring, our son Freddie loved Aysha, Maud and Monica to name a few! I would say that being 1 week away from 2 he was possibly getting a bit too big for baby club, it looked as though Petit club may have suited him better. Not a fault of club med as there has to be an age cut off somewhere, but maybe something to be conscious of if you have a confident almost 2 year old!
  • the rooms were kept immaculately. They are a little outdated and we didn’t have a balcony but the cleaners did a wonderful job.
  • we often struggle with the club med transfers but this was the best we’ve had. Lovely spacious mini bus transfers with air con and a baby/toddler seat suitable for his age!
  • the zen pool (the one closest to the baby club) was lovely, so beautiful with the flowers growing against the rocks.
  • tennis and Padel courts were fab - generally easy to get court availability!
    A few things to improve:
  • main restaurant could definitely do with upgrading, felt a bit rundown in areas. Food itself was good although not the best club med food we’ve had.
  • beach/ pool towels are given to the rooms, rather than to be collected by the poolside as we have found at other club med resorts. This wasn’t ideal - you need to keep hold of it for 24 hours and it wasn’t obviously replaceable once you had used it and it was wet.

Overall we had a fab stay and would definitely visit again!
